Dark Places is pleased to offer our clients a vast array of experienced professionals for all your needs. Decades of knowledge in a wide array of specialties give us the ability to handle nearly every situation imaginable.

It's true. When it comes down to show time, the last thing you want to worry about is technical glitches, missed ques and whether or not your crew really has your back when the pressure is on. We staff our projects with industry professionals with a positive "Can Do" attitude. From production and tour managers, lighting and set designers, audio engineers, band gear technicians, programmers, merchandisers, video directors, caterers and all the staff in between, we strive to bring you the best people to make your show a success!

Our People

Richard "Scooter" Oi

  An entertainment industry professional for over half his life, Scooter has expertise in a variety of fields. A skilled production manager, he has overseen tours and events of all sizes and durations. Bringing his extensive design experience in both lighting, sets, logos and merchandise makes him a one-stop shop for full production design and execution.
  His long time  relationships with major industry vendors allows him to draw upon the latest in technology and the best in personnel for his projects. His ability to bring together and lead a team of the best and brightest the industry has to offer plays a large part in keeping his productions on time, on target and on budget.
  Scooter also has expertise in studio and live recording, video editing, creative writing and musical composition, rounding out a depth of experience that makes him a valuable asset to any management team.

Carolyn "Chupi" Jones

  Carolyn comes to Dark Places with a vast and varied amount of experience in fields ranging from merchandise design and sales, tour accounting, personnel and cargo transportation and logistics and stage management. As if that weren't enough, she is also a talented guitar, bass and keyboard tech and production assistant.
  A long-time and successful entrepreneur, Carolyn's extensive background in business start-ups, accounting and the negotiating and executing of contracts make her an essential part in all phases of a production's life.

Laura Mosser

  Born and raised in South Texas, Laura's entrepreneurial spirit,  organizational skills and positive "get-it-done" attitude have made her an asset on numerous tours, events and businesses. Laura's approach to production makes for effortless shows.

Bob Wilson

  Bob comes to us with a broad variety of talents and experiences, as both a musician and an experienced manager of businesses. His "people skills"
and experience keeps the trains on time at Dark Places and it's San Antonio rental office.
